I had no clue about this company and what they could do. My mortgage advisor suggested them since we were really having a tough time securing a mortgage for a nice place because we’ve been in the shared ownership scheme for the past 20 years, which meant we didn’t have a hefty deposit. Proportunity made it work for us by lending a little extra to boost our deposit, letting us snag our dream home. They did ask for a ton of details and the process took a few months, which was a bit nerve-wracking, but everyone was super helpful and explained everything that was going on during the application.
